Furlani Foods’ Family Faves is a PAC favorite, too!
Designed by Davis, the packaging for Furlani Garlic Breads won Best in Class in the Brand Marketing, New Brand, Food category at the 2023 PAC Global Awards held in New York City on February 7th.
Boasting the new Family Faves identity, this winning design is bold in presence and warmth in character. Capturing the transformative energy that garlic bread adds to any meal, each package amps up appetite appeal through food-forward photography and the inclusion of serving suggestions and recipes ideas. A conduit of connection, the design celebrates the unique togetherness that only sharing a meal – or breaking bread creates.
Earning an Award of Distinction in the Brand Marketing, New Brand Food category, Maple Leaf Foods’ Mina Meals certainly wowed the crowd. Drawing inspiration from Middle Eastern architecture and textiles, authenticity is the key flavor of this striking design, while its bold, palette and luscious food photography gives it just the right amount of spice it needed to sway the panel of judges.
Also recognized with an Award of Distinction in the Package Innovation, Sustainable Design category was Kruger Products’ Bonterra household paper goods. Made from responsibly sourced paper and wrapped in plastic-free packaging, this new brand is making some serious waves in the eco household paper category. Inspired by tropical elements found in nature, the result is bright, modern, colorful, and credible. A veritable breath of fresh air, it infuses this typically stale category with much-needed optimism and excitement.
Celebrating the craft of package brand design and innovation, PAC Global is a not-for-profit packaging association with over 2,400 members and the hosts of the annual awards.
Returning to a live, in-person event for the first time since the pandemic, the PAC welcomed attendees to their highly anticipated, sold-out Futures Edge Summit. Promising amplification of some of the world’s most inspiring package design and innovation stories, the Summit did not disappoint.
With a full schedule of Speaker Sessions from an esteemed group of brand builders, contributors, and creators, guests were privy to a compelling and insightful blend of spirited storytelling and in-depth discussions. Award-winners were announced intermittently throughout day with an early cocktail reception closing out the event.
